Biography

Peter Hook

Peter Hook's primary duties are to provide reference assistance and to assess, promote, and facilitate the use of online legal materials and other databases. In addition to his work as a librarian, Hook is a doctoral student in the field of Information Science. He works in the area of information visualization with a particular focus on the educational use of knowledge domain visualizations, concept mapping, and the spatial navigation of bibliographic data in which the underlying structural organization of the domain is conveyed to the user. Additional interests include social network theory, knowledge organization systems, legal infometrics and legal informatics.
