In its second year, the competition attracted 40 students from the Law School and the IU Kelley School of Business MBA program, combining into eight teams of five participants.

According to Jody Madeira, a professor at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Brown County District Judge John Rodenberg correctly found that the parents of Daniel Hauser have medically neglected their son by refusing chemotherapy.
